Facility Development

This section identifies the facilities required by the club to sustain and increase participation.

Aim

To develop the facilities at the ground and the adjacent park in order to achieve our vision of expanding the Club to make it the focus for community football development in the area. See Development of Collingwood Recreation Ground Facilities

Objectives

Manage and maintain all existing Club facilities.

Work with the Surrey Football Association to apply for Football Foundation Funding to re-introduce the pitches in the Collingwood Road Recreation Ground and develop a complex within the the Clubs premises which will include changing rooms and associated facilities.

Work with the Surrey Football Association to apply for Football Foundation Funding to provide a 3 G pitch that can be used in all weathers.

Develop the use of external facilities through our partnership arrangements with Sutton Council, local schools and other Clubs.

Maintain the safety of our teams playing in various grounds. Survey of goal posts to be carried out - if necessary apply to the Goalpost Safety Programme for assistance.

Develop a Management and Usage Plan for the proposed development as part of the business planning and planning application processes (See 2 and 3 above).
(Other matters associated with the proposed development are covered in detail in the SUFC Project Business Plan).
