Promotion

Marketing and PR communication campaigns can play a significant role in helping deliver the key messages of the club around raising standards and safety in the youth section together with promoting the club to it’s membership and potential new sponsors.

Aims

-To promote and publicise the opportunities that the Club provides for participation in all aspects of football.

-To continue to increase the profile of the Club within the Community

-To promote interest, support and sponsorship for the provision of the planned extra facilities at the Club

-To ensure that maximum use is made of the new facilities once provided by high profile advertising and promotion.

Objectives

To promote playing opportunities at the Club through poster campaigns, press advertising,contacts with local schools and clubs and our website.

To ensure that the community work that the Club undertakes is fully acknowledged by developing further the Club's "Community Works" newsletter.

To advertise for extra volunteers and mangers to fill vacant positions as they arise.

To further develop the Clubs website in order to emphasise the community work done by the Club.

Promote the success of the Colts by providing a regular more comprehensive feature in the first team programme.

Develop new advertisement boards within the Ground specifically for Football Development Plan information.

Continue to develop our recipricol arrangements with other sports clubs for the provision of information and advertising opportunities.

Gain greater presence for our fun days, community days and external visits to hospitals etc by purchasing a mascot costume.

Hold an open day for all parents at the beginning of the season to promote the Clubs visions and values and engender enthusiasm.
Continue to hold the Meet the Manager meetings so that questions can be asked of the Manager and Chairman and information provided.

Develop our system of partnership meetings to ensure information is provided to all those with an interest in the club and promote more interest among the Borough in general by additional publicity and promotion, especially in connection with the new proposals.
