BY CAR: The ground is just north of junction 5 of the M27 – travel either via the M3 or the A3, which with the opening of the Hindhead Tunnel proved a very reasonable alternative to the M3 on the recent trip to Dorchester. Leave the M27 at junction 5 and take the third exit off the roundabout if you’re coming from the Portsmouth direction, but the first if you’ve come via the M3, in to Stoneham Lane. You will go past the ground on your left, but need to continue to the next mini-roundabout, go all the way round, then just after passing the Concorde Club on your left, turn right in to what is also Stoneham Lane, and the entrance is 200 metres along on the left with parking available..

BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT.  The station to use is Southampton Airport Parkway, about a 15-20 minute walk away although it is along a busy main road with no pavement. There are direct services from Clapham Junction at 12 minutes past the hour, taking an hour, or at 46 minutes past the hour, taking about twenty minutes longer. You can also catch the 27 minutes past the hour from Clapham Junction and change at Basingstoke. Return direct at 17.08 and 17.38, or at 17.22, changing at Basingstoke. From the station follow the main road (the A335) to the roundabout by the motorway, then follow the road directions above
