HOW TO GET THERE
By Car: A very straightforward journey, taking the M25 anti-clockwise to junction 26. At the roundabout at the end of the slip road take the second exit to follow the A121 alongside the motorway in the same direction as far as the next roundabout (Sewardstone). Take the third exit in to Sewardstone Road to go back over the motorway and the ground is immediately on the right just before the cemetery. If travelling clockwise on the M25 you need to take the third exit off the roundabout at the end of that slip road to go under the motorway, then the second exit at the next roundabout to follow the A121 back towards the Sewardstone roundabout.
By Public Transport: The closest station is Waltham Cross, but it's a good two miles away with no connecting bus service so you will need to complete the journey by taxi unless you want a very long walk. Trains are off Liverpool Street at 12 and 42 minutes past the hour, returning at 01 and 31 minutes past and taking 25 minutes.. All trains call at Tottenham Hale thirteen minutes out of Liverpool Street and with the Circle Line and Metropolitan Line not working through Liverpool Street that may be a better option, catching the Victoria Line from Victoria to Tottenham Hale. If you do walk from Waltham Cross station, head east from the station along the main road and keep going, carrying straight on at the Abbey View roundabout rather than following the main road, until you have passed Waltham Abbey Gardens on your left, then turn right in to Sewardstone Road.
