Sutton United Supporters' Trust launched in August 2006 with 4 main aims - to give supporters' a stronger voice within the club, to give supporters' a chance of owning a shareholding of the club, to raise funds, and to promote the club within the local community.

Following the Supporters' Direct model of forming an Industrial and Provident Society, SUST is a community-oriented, not-for-profit organisation. Although many Supporters' Trusts around the country are born out of discomfort with football club owners and management, SUST is in the fortunate position of having a healthy working relationship with Sutton United Football Club, regularly exchanging ideas and opinions on how we can all move the club forward together and how we can interact more within the local community. Monies raised in the past season through membership, fundraising activities and operating Rose's Tea Bar on matchdays went towards a healthy ground revamp and tidy-up by a number of supporter-volunteers to help make the matchday experience more enjoyable and comfortable for players, management and supporters.
