COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR
Sutton United is looking to appoint a new Commercial Director. The post-holder will initially work
alongside company chairman Barry Aplin and will be expected to bring new ideas to the table and
attract new sponsorship from local businesses. Company Secretary Dave Farebrother explains:
"Barry has done a great job for more than three decades in securing high quality sponsorship for
the club but we are still operating in a difficult financial climate and it is no longer a one-man job.
Barry has demonstrated that the best weapon in a commercial manager's armoury is passion, the
ability to sell the club to potential sponsors and business partners, and we know that there are
many people out there who have the right qualities and just need an opportunity to show what they
can do".

OFFICE ORGANISER
We are looking for volunteers who would be interested in helping to manage the club's office on
weekdays. Arrangements can be flexible and possibly shared by more than one person. The role
will include usual secretarial duties, preparing invoices and handling hall bookings and has the
potential to expand into promotional areas to increase lettings and associated sponsorship
opportunities.
