The stand-out fixture of tonight's Ryman League programme will be at The Pilot Field (click here for travel details, and if you are using London mainline stations allow extra time to reach them because of the Tube strike) as Sutton look to maintain their place at the top of the table against a Hastings side who themselves have yet to lose a league game, and having just missed out on the playoffs last season will be expected to be challenging again this time round. Their home games have seen them beat Wealdstone and draw with Cray, while on Saturday they scored three times in the last twenty minutes to win 3-1 at Aveley and move up to 4th place. Sutton are looking to equal a club record of six consecutive clean sheets, a feat achieved in the 1978-79 season and again twenty years later as U's charge to the championship gathered pace, and will hope that they can repeat last season's performance in the corresponding fixture, generally accepted as one of their best of the season as they won 3-1.
