Latest News   Margate v Sutton preview
12th November 2010

After opening a six point lead at the top of the Ryman League on Tuesday, Sutton head to the Kent coast tomorrow to face Margate (travel details here), who will be looking to end a run of six league and cup games without a win, their last success coming four weeks ago when they beat Whitehawk 5-1 in the first qualifying round of the FA Trophy. They currently lie in 14th place, but U's have never found Hartsdown Park an easy ground and their league visits in the past two seasons have produced one draw and one defeat - a Steve Perkins goal last season earning a point against a Maragte side who were on the way to their second consecutive reprieve from relegation despite finishing in the bottom four.

Both sides are without influential players through suspension, with U's missing Tom Davis while Jay Saunders is forced to sit the game out for Margate, who also have injury concerns over leading scorer Shaun Welford, who scored a hat trick against Whitehawk having also hit a treble in the 6-1 defeat of Horsham a week earlier.

Sutton's reserves are at home to Northwood tomorrow in the Suburban League.
