Sutton drew 1-1 at home to Concord Rangers today, recovering after a first half so poor that manager Paul Doswell made all three substitutions at half time. Bradley Woods-Garness equalised five minutes in to the second half, and Fola Orilonishe missed a golden chance to put U's ahead, but they finished the game on the back foot and were indebted to two saves by Kevin Scriven and Sam Page's goal-line clearance for coming out with a point which extended their lead at the top to seven points with Kingstonian, Bury and Cray all in action on Sunday. Full report, with photos, here, and Paul Doswell's view here.
After the game Tom Kavanagh, who has made the step up impressively from the reserves this season, signed a contract with the club.
The reserves were beaten 3-2 at Metropolitan Police in their first game since the end of November. They are scheduled to play Worcester Park at Gander Green Lane on Tuesday, kick off 7.45, in the Surrey Premier Cup.
