Sutton maintained their position at the top of the Ryman League today with a 2-1 win against Lowestoft thatks to two goals from Andy Forbes, the first a penalty. However Forbes' celebrations following his second goal earned him a second yellow card to reduce U's to ten men, but despite a goal for the visitors midway through the second half U's, for whom Tom Kavanagh's inclusion for Bradley Woods-Garness was the only change from the line up that beat Hornchurch on Tuesday, held on for a win that keeps them eight points clear of Bury, who won against Carshalton while Tonbridge, who U's visit next weekend, were surprisingly beaten 2-0 at Croydon Athletic.
