Sutton will look to reverse the form of recent years when they visit AFC Hornchurch in tomorrow's top of the table Ryman League clash (travel details here - note no District Line east of Tower Hill tomorrow). As with Wealdstone, who scored a late winner against U's a fortnight ago, games against Hornchurch in the competition have always gone the way of the home side, with Hornchurch unable to avoid a fourth defeat in four Ryman League visits to Gander Green Lane last month as U's scored three unanswered goals inside the last fifteen minutes, but U's have had similarly little return on their visits to Bridge Avenue, losing 3-0 in 2003, 2-1 two seasons ago and last season beaten by one spectacular Wayne Gray strike. It promises to be another tough visit for U's, with Hornchurch having climbed back in to a playoff position on Tuesday with a 1-0 win at home to Hastings, their fifth league win in six games.
With Simon Downer available again after suspension, Sutton should have a full strength squad to choose from.
The reserves are at home to Suburban League leaders AFC Wimbledon at Gander Green Lane, kick off 3.00.
