Meanwhile the reserves have received a reprieve in the Champions' Cup after Burgess Hill, who had beaten U's 3-2 on aggregate in the semi final, were found to have fielded several ineligible players in the second leg at Sutton, which they won 2-0. The Suburban League has ordered that the second leg be replayed, and that game will be at Sutton next Saturday, when Burgess Hill were already scheduled to be the visitors in a league game. U's 2-1 lead from the first leg will stand. Before that the reserves are at home to Molesey on Wednesday (7.45) in the Surrey Premier Cup, replaying the game that was abandoned at Molesey last week. |
