| The winners of Tuesday's FA Trophy replay at Gander Green Lane will have an attractive home tie against Blue Square Premier team Forest Green Rovers in the 1st round proper on Saturday 15 December. After several seasons of struggling to survive at the top level Forest Green have enjoyed more success in the past couple of years since moving to their New Lawn ground just up the hill from their previous home,and currently occupy a play-off place in Blue Square Premier, as well as having won at Rotherham in the FA Cup last week, and possess the league's top scorer in Stuart Fleetwood. Sutton and Forest Green have met twice before in the competition, U's winning 3-0 at Sutton on their way to the 1999-2000 semi-final but Forest Green enjoying a 4-0 success in Gloucestershire in January 2004. |
