Latest News   Dorchester v Sutton preview
22nd February 2008

Sutton manager Ernie Howe should have a full squad to choose from going in to Saturday's crucial bottom of the table clash at Dorchester. Paul Honey completed a full training session on Thursday, goalkeeper Phil Wilson was due back from his trip to America on Friday morning and Karim El-Salahi is available having been ineligible for last week's game against Eastleigh. Ernie has been trying to play down the build-up to the game. ''I've tried not to say too much about it this week, but it is a massive game and one we need to win,'' he said. ''Hopefully we can do that, but what we mustn't do is go there and play with any fear.'' Dorchester beat U's 3-1 at Gander Green Lane in September since when they have won only two Blue Square South games, most recently against Cambridge City at the beginning of January, and their 2-2 draw in the return game at Milton Road last week ended a run of five consecutive defeats. Their leading scorer is Jones Awuah, who had a brief spell with Sutton two seasons ago but who is a slight doubt for the game having not trained this week due to an infection. Last season's game in Dorset was a thriller, although U's struggled to appreciate the fact, losing 5-4 having led 4-2 with 15 minutes to go, but the previous season U's scored five themselves without reply. Supporters wishing to travel to the game by train should note that journey times from London are extended this weekend, with trains to Dorchester South taking just over three hours from Clapham Junction. Departures from Clapham are at 05 and 35 minutes past the hour, and from Dorchester at 13 and 32 minutes past the hour.
