In Round One, the U's have been drawn at home to Notts County. The game gives Sutton a chance to avenge their defeat in the 3rd round of the 1993-94 season, when they battled back to 2-2 after conceding two goals in the first ten minutes but were eventually beaten 3-2 after a disputed goal. Notts County are currently midtable in League Two, having drawn 9 of their 13 league games so far. The tie will be played on the weekend of 8th November.
