Less than two weeks after winning 3-1 at Boreham Wood, Sutton will be looking to achieve a quick-fire double tomorrow when the Hertfordshire side visit Gander Green Lane in the return Ryman League fixture. With Hornchurch emulating U's victory at Meadow Park last Saturday, and the improved form of some of the teams at the lower end of the table, Boreham Wood, who finished in the bottom four last season but were then reprieved from relegation are in danger of being sucked in to another survival battle, being just six points above the relegation zone and having played more games than any side below the. However U's will know they face a difficult game having had to work hard for the points in that away victory in which they benefited from two bad goalkeeping errors. Boreham Wood have won on two of their previous eleven league visits, but five of the other matches have been drawn. Alan Bray, Tim Bond and Billy Dunn all featured in the reserves' win against Corinthian Casuals on Tuesday and could all be included in U's squad.
