Latest News   Bognor Regis Town v Sutton preview
20th November 2009

On Saturday Sutton renew acquaintances with Bognor Regis at Nyewood Lane (travel details in 'away travel' section under the 'fans' heading - note disruption to train services), the Sussex side having been relegated from Blue Square South at the end of last season, a year after Sutton had made the same drop. Bognor have continued to struggle at the start of this season and go in to tomorrow's game with only Billericay below them in the table, but their recent form has been reasonable and they are unbeaten in their last four league games, a run that included an impressive 3-3 draw at leaders Dartford, where Jason Prior scored a hat trick. Their squad is likely to include two players who were with Sutton last season, full back Jack Smith, who returned to the line-up after a month out in Tuesday's home draw with Harrow, and centre back Tim Bond, who took over the captain's armband from the injured James Crane during that game. Sutton haven't won in four league and cup games since their FA Cup win at Hampton, and dropped in to the lower half of the table with Tuesday's defeat against Maidstone, albeit with games in hand over eight of the top eleven teams. Sonny Cobbs will miss tomorrow's game having picked up a one match ban for accumulating five cautions, but loan striker James Norwood joins the squad after his move from Exeter.

The reserves have a home Suburban League game against Beaconsfield SYCOB. If the weather lives down to the forecast for tomorrow check with this site and Clubcall for updates on the prospects of play in both games.
