BOREHAM WOOD 0 SUTTON UTD 0
Sutton ended a run of three consecutive defeats with a goalless draw which might have been better as they had the majority of the chances but found the home goalkeeper in good form. Raphael Duyile and Bajrush Halili had early shots saved, and although Elliott Tomkins had to make one good block Uís continued to have the better of things as Halili was denied twice more by the keeper, and on the stroke of half time, as Sutton broke following a corner, his shot was again saved when a cross to the well placed Franck Niamke looked a better bet. From the resulting corner Chris Beardís header was held by the keeper, who was in action again early in the second half when he scrambled away a Hughes free kick, Duyile just failing to convert the rebound. Duyile and Elliot Mitchell both had shots well saved, and when the keeper was beaten, shots by Mitchell and debutant Kevant Serbony went wide. Jon Williams in the Sutton goal was called in to rare action with fifteen minutes left, blocking a close range shot, but the game finished in familiar fashion as the home keeper saved Chris Sessegnonís shot.
