Sutton's first ever league visit to Horsham was played at Worthing's ground on a rain soaked and blustery afternoon. It was Horsham who were quickest out of the blocks here going close 3 times in the first 10 minutes resulting from some slick passing moves. However U's held out and began to assert themselves on the game taking the lead on 59mins through Adam Wilde, but just 13mins later a deep cross appeared to catch on the wind and completely deceive Nicholls in the Sutton goal as he watched helplessly as the ball sailed over his head to level the score. At this stage it looked although Horsham would go on and grab the victory but a injury time goal from the hard working McCallum stole all 3 for the U's.
