On Sunday we pay tribute to a Sutton legend with the Craig Dundas testimonial game kicking off at 3pm between players from our 2016-17 FA Cup side, managed by Paul Doswell and Ian Baird, and players from the 2021 National League championship squad, managed by Matt Gray and Jason Goodliffe.
The only entrance to the ground and bars is via the Gander Green Lane turnstiles (Gate A), unless you have booked the pre-match hospitality in which case you should go directly to the MBA Lounge. At the turnstiles you can buy tickets for the match by cash or card: all tickets are just £10.00. Alternatively, you can book them online here:
The car park will be closed as we have significantly less space available than on regular match days. Please note that if you have a permit for the car park, it WILL NOT be valid for this game.
Everyone is strongly encouraged to try and get to the ground via public transport or other means, and we are pleased to say that the rail engineering works originally planned for Sunday have been cancelled and so West Sutton station will be open as usual. For anyone that does drive, fewer parking restrictions apply on a Sunday so parking in local side streets is more of an option. However, if you do require a parking space at the ground, please contact the Head Steward, Dan Liddiard, on 07415 893724 or daniel@athossecurity.co.uk We cannot guarantee a space will be available but Dan will try and be as accommodating as logistics allow.
The MBA lounge will be closed until approximately 2.15pm for pre-match hospitality. However, Rowlen’s Bar and the 1898 Lounge will be open from midday. The bars will be remaining open throughout the afternoon so you can watch the game with a beverage of your choice.
During the course of the day we will be holding an auction for some great prizes. At the pre-match lunch we will be auctioning a framed England shirt signed by 1966 World Cup winners Sir Geoff Hurst and Martin Peters MBE, and a round of 18 holes, with drinks for two people, at Banstead Downs Golf Club with Matt Gray and Adrian Barry. After the game we hope you will be able to join us in the MBA Lounge as we will be auctioning off some Craig Dundas shirts signed by Craig himself as well as making our ‘Man of the Match’ presentation and holding a raffle.
