Sutton make the relatively short trip to Boreham Wood on Saturday hoping to extend an unbeaten start to the season that stands at four games after Tuesday night’s battling draw at Eastleigh. U’s had a few walking wounded after that game, in addition to seeing Will Randall stretchered off in the first half, and Matt Gray will be hoping that those knocks will have healed in time for tomorrow’s game.

Boreham Wood go in to the game one place below Sutton in the early league table having picked up their first win of the season at Dagenham on Tuesday, with two goals coming from Kabongo Tshimanga, whose free scoring form for Oxford City last season earned him a move to Meadow Park in the summer. The win at Victoria Road came on the back of an opening day defeat at Torquay and home draws with Wrexham and Chesterfield.

U’s are looking to win at Meadow Park for the third season in a row. Last season Craig Eastmond came up with a stoppage time winner (above) to give U’s a 2-1 win, having scored twice in the previous season’s 4-0 win, but he has not featured yet this season due to injury.
