First new face added

Manager Paul Doswell has made his first addition to his squad in readiness for the National League, signing 27-year-old winger Bradley Hudson-Odoi from Wealdstone, where he was voted Player of the Year last season, scoring fifteen league and cup goals. He was previously with Hereford, Grays amd Metropolitan Police, and represented Ghana at Under 20 level at the 2007 Toulon tournament. Paul was delighted with the signing. '' He totally fits the type of player I've been looking to sign - young, hungry to succeed and with pace to burn. I watched him many times last season and he was Wealdstone's main attacking threat with some outstanding wing play. He has already played in the Football League for Hereford, and is ambitious to play in the National League and improve his game. He offers great competition to Tom Bolarinwa and Ross Stearn.'' Bradley is also looking forward to joining U's and said: ''Once I knew Paul was interested it was something I really wanted to happen. They were the stand-out team last season, and their attacking style of play with two wingers will really suit my game. I want to keep improving and developing as a player and know that this will happen at Sutton. I also know some of the players and that really helps when settling in to a new club, and they all spoke so highly of the club and the ambition it has. The hard work starts for me now, and I can't wait for pre-season to get started.''
