Manager Paul Doswell was delighted for Ross Worner after he received his award as Reusch Goalkeeper of the Year in at the Non-League Paper's National Game Awards lunch at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday. "Ross has been outstanding this season, and the number of clean sheets he kept was a credit to himself and the back four. He is enormously popular in the dressing room and as I said many times last season in interviews the best goalkeeper in the league. He's loved it at Sutton,and I am pleased to announce that Ross has also signed a new two year contract with the club. It's another sign of the club's progress that he was so willing to sign, and I believe that he will be winning another award again next season"
