Following the successful younger girls' football training sessions organised by Bobby Childs and Jamie Decruz during the summer, two new under 8 teams have been formed with an under 9 side also on the way.
“We were really pleased with the response to the summer training sessions and it was a logical step to form some teams for the new younger players. All the managers are now in place and the girls will soon be starting to play small sided games which is great to see”
These new teams supplement the club's Under 11 and Under 13 girls' teams, both of whom are unbeaten so far this season and the new under 12 development squad which is currently being formed.
