There was a popular winner of the seventh Strikers Are Key draw of the season made in the Players' Bar after the 1-0 win against Guiseley. Ball 20 made its first-ever appearance out of the purple velvet bag, owned by Steve, Vicky and Adam King. Steve, of course, does a tremendous job as Manager of the SUFC Community teams and he was delighted to learn that, in his absence yesterday, Micky Joyce stepped (gingerly) on to the SAK stage and selected the correct key (card) for him, thereby winning Kingy's syndicate the £850 prize. Joycey has always been one of Steve's heroes - a mantle cemented by yesterday's performance! We hope to back to traditional metallic unlocking devices for next week's eighth draw of the season in the expectation of imminent good news from the ironmonger- we go again after the eagerly-anticipated local derby v Woking.
