Despite not playing as well as they have in some defeats this season, Sutton took maximum points against Guiseley this afternoon, the only goal coming when Connor Brown, making his debut for the visitors, turned a Kevin Amankwaah cross in to his own net in trying to clear for a corner. Ross Worner made two superb saves in the second half, one from a misdirected Chris Dickson header, to deny bottom of the table Guiseley the point they probably deserved, and Jordan Preston shot over a gaping goal in the last minute.
