Sutton United Community Pan Disability teams both play in the Surrey FA “Football For All” League. Sutton United A play in the Surrey FA Championship and are strong contenders to compete for the title gaining promotion to the elite disability division in Surrey. Championship Results Sutton United A 5 (Mills 2, Dixon, Cheeseman, Evans H) Guilford 0 Sutton United A 0 Chelsea Stamford 0 Sutton United A 1 (Evans) Woking 0 Sutton United 4 (Mills, Wilson, Dixon, og) Surrey Blues 0 Sutton United A 0 Chelsea Bridge 0 Sutton made a great start to the season with 3 wins and 2 draws and a total of 11 points. This put Sutton 2nd in the table behind Woking, who won 4 of their 5 games. With Woking winning 4 and losing 1, meaning 12 points, meaning Sutton United lay second in the championship. The Man of the Tournament for Sutton United A was the outstanding Ben Wilson, who is the Community team's Nicky Bailey. Manager Steve King said it has been a superb start of the season for both sides, with the A team starting superbly without conceding a goal and this should set the team up for a great season. With the U's Community team enjoying a Fantastic first tournament and very unlucky not to win the tournament in their first ever month, watching their faces when goals went in was great to see and it was an amazing occasion. This is the first ever season for our second team, the Sutton U's Community Pan Disability Team, known as the U's, Who are playing in their first ever tournament The Surrey FA League 1 works in a different way, meaning that there is a monthly tournament winner. It was a great experience for the players, capped with leading Community Team U's scorer Matt Evans scoring 4 goals.
