For the second week running Sutton came back from a long trip with a narrow defeat in a game from which they should have taken at least a point. U's had the majority of chances, Chris Dickson coming closest when he hit the bar, but their failure to convert them was punished when Sean Newton scored the only goal of the game in the 64th minute.
