The Next 2 Home Games and Mascot Opportunities

6 August 2017

And breathe.....

It was fantastic to welcome the new season with the day's highest-profile match, the visit from Leyton Orient and the return of our new friends, the tv cameras.  We were also delighted to see an attendance of more than 3,000 people but we faced a few logistical problems with the game being on the opening day of the season, and being an early kick-off, after such a busy summer of works.

Well, it's back to normality for the next two home games, against Macclesfield Town and Maidstone United.

Segregation will not be in place for either of these games.  The additional ticket situation we brought in for yesterday was a one-off, so if you have a stand seat there will not be any need to claim the extra voucher.  Also, the side entrance from the car park is now operational, it includes an entrance turnstile and an exit-only full-height turnstile that will always be accessible. That entrance also has our new toilet block (the old stand toilets at that end are now Paul Doswell's office). These WCs were in the 'away' end yesterday but we are sure everyone will agree that they are a major upgrade.

The arrangements for the main door remain in place, this entrance is not for general admissions to the stadium and is reserved for players, officials and matchday staff. However, Vice-Presidents (with their new VPs' card) will be able to go the VPs' Lounge this way.   As usual, there is  no spectator admission to the stadium through the players' tunnel door.

We also have mascot opportunities available for both fixtures. The cost to be a mascot is £50 and includes a set of kit comprising shirt, shorts and sock and a match programme, together with a tour of boardroom, dressing rooms. The mascot also gets to enjoy a warm-up on pitch prior to match, leading out the team out and having a photo taken with a with captains and match officials. The package includes three complimentary tickets in addition to one for the mascot. To book, click here

See below for a glimpse of our improved facilities, including a brief video of the new home changing rooms, which required a substantial remodelling of the existing space (this is not part of the modular unit in the car-park).
