The U's Community team made a slow but promising start in the George Best Cup on the opening day of the 72-team tournament in Belfast.

The U's came 3rd in their group but rested key players and are hoping to be at their best on Friday as they seek to qualify for the quarter finals. It was no disgrace losing to the Irish national Cerebral Palsy team and Aylestone were finalists in the Peoples' FA Cup.
