Sutton United

Two goals in a three minute first half spell condemned Sutton to defeat at Gander Green Lane tonight against title-chasing Forest Green. After U's had been the better side in the first half hour Mark Ellis and Christian Doidge, the latter after a mix-up between Will Puddy and Jamie Collins, struck in quick succession to leave Sutton with an uphill battle. Despite plenty of second half pressure, and a late red card for Ellis after he brought down Max Biamou on the edge of the penalty area, U's only breakthrough came in the fifth minute of stoppage time through substitute Kieron Cadogan.
