In glorious weather, fourteen teams competed for the Sutton United Golf Classic 2017 at Banstead Downs Golf Club on 30 March. Overall Team Winners were Sydenham CC Old Boys with 88 points. One Step, Rent4Sure, Coulsdon Court Golf Club, Cobra Financial Services and W.T. Interiors were all a point behind, with One Step claiming the runners-up spot on countback. Individual winners were Mike Sealey, Gary Waterman and Lee Wallis . Ex-Chelsea defender Gary Chivers presented the prizes and representatives from the One Step at a Time charity were on hand to assist with the raffle and auction. In total, £1,800 was raised over the course of the day. Next year's event will be at Banstead Downs GC on Thursday 29 March 2018.
