We're delighted to announce that our pre-season programme this summer will be opened by Coventry City, who will visit the Knights Community Stadium on Saturday 8 July, kick off 3pm. The Sky Blues, whose last visit to the ground resulted in one of the FA Cup's biggest shocks, start next season in League Two after their relegation but are the holders of the EFL Trophy after beating Oxford at Wembley in early April.
The following Saturday, 15 July, we will have another home friendly, this time against Vanarama National League South Hemel Hempstead Town, a club we have met on a number of occasions in recent seasons.
We will also be playing two sides who came close to joining us in the Vanarama National League for next season. On Tuesday 18 July we visit Dartford, with spectators probably hoping for a repeat of the FA Cup goalfest in November, while Chelmsford, who beat Dartford in the National League South play-off semi finals but then lost at Ebbsfleet in the final, will provide the opposition at Sutton on Saturday 29 July. Completing a treble of games against National League South teams, we will be away to promoted Havant & Waterlooville, who have recently signed Matt Tubbs, on Saturday 22 July.

The Vanarama National League season begins on Saturday 5 August.
