Sutton survived a tricky trip to the West Country to book their place in the Emirates FA Cup 1st Round. Kieron Cadogan gave U's a 10th minute lead only for home skipper Josh Ford to level following a corner seven minutes later. The tie seemed to have swung decisively in U's favour when Cadogan and Louis John both scored in the first nine minutes of the second half, and Cadogan came close to a hat-trick when his shot hit the post, but Paulton ensured a nervous last quarter of an hour for U's fans when substitute David Sims scored with his first touch after Jamie Butler had spilled a cross from the right. U's held on, though, and will be represented by ball 79 in the first round draw on Monday, which is live on BT Sport and BBC 2 just after 7pm.
