Sutton's hopes of an FA Trophy run were ended in the wind and rain at Hayes Lane as two goals in the space of two second half minutes, both headers from set pieces, saw Bromley come from a goal down at half time to win 2-1. Sutton led at the break through a goal of the season contender from Brandon Thomas Asante, his first goal for the club, and ended the game convinced they should have had the chance of an equaliser in the dying minutes when Jamie Collins seemed to be fouled in the penalty area after Darren McQueen's shot was blocked, but referee Sam Allison waved play on. U's lost Bradley Pearce to injury with a gashed leg in the first half. Full report here.
