Goalkeeper Ross Worner has joined Maidstone United on loan to the end of this season. Ross missed the whole of last season through injury and has made four appearances this season, two in the Irn Bru Cup, one at Gateshead in the National League and also in the FA Cup replay at Slough when Jamie Butler was suspended. Manager Paul Doswell said: ''Ross has done very well in the four games that he has played this season, keeping three clean sheets, but in turn Jamie Butler has done nothing wrong and has been superb for us last season and this. Ross obviously wants to play more regularly, and to be honest we can't afford to have two top-line keepers at the club and only one playing, so it's a move that makes sense all round.''
