Goalkeeper Ross Worner is to join Vanarama National League South Chelmsford City on a season-long loan after recovering from the injuries that have sidelined him since February 2017. Manager Paul Doswell said: ''It's important now he's back playing that Ross gets a long run of games with a good club, which Chelmsford are, and at the end of the season he'll come back to us to compete for his place. Jamie Butler's form was magnificent last season, and if anything happens to him we are still in contact with Wigan and Owen Evans and would probably go down that road, to ensure that Ross is able to play the whole season with Chelmsford.''
