People's FA Cup Finals Day

Sutton United Hunters Disability Team proudly took their place in the FA People's Cup Finals at St George's Park on Sunday 29th May in their first full season.

Sutton United Hunters who play at the 3rd recognised level in the National Disability Football pyramid had qualified through county and southern regional rounds to take their place in this years national finals.

Sutton United Hunters finished 6th in this years FA People's Cup

Sutton United Hunters coach Paul Leconte said “ WOW !!! what a amazing weekend. I am so proud of our team, to finish 6th in the whole of the UK in our first ever year is nothing short of a miracle. Staying in the Hilton Hotel and being able to use all the great facilities together as a team meant so much to the players. This experience will stay with us all for a lifetime. Myself and the team would like to thank everyone at Sutton United who made this opportunity possible “.

While the football club was having the End of Season presentation on Saturday the Hunters enjoyed their very own Presentation at the Hilton Hotel St George's Park.

SID SMITH was named Hunters Player Of The Year.

NICK WEST was named Hunters Players' Player Of the Year.

ANTHONY CARTER  was named Community Teams' Young Player of the Year.
