The 23rd and final Strikers are Key draw of the season duly took place after last Saturday's thrilling match v Aldershot Town.
The safe's contents were swollen to £700 courtesy of the goals scored against the Shots by Tommy Wright and Ross Lafayette. Four attempts were made to open the safe on a day when its contents had to be won!
The first three unsuccessful attempts were made by:
Ball 31 owned by "" The Oddbods"; Graham, Lyn, Daphne and Simon Baker and Judith Tonge
Ball 3 owned by the syndicate "Another Goal Missed" comprising Neil Robinson, Paul Lane, Russell Miller, David Smart and Nick Taylor and
Ball 44 owned by the "Last of the Summer Whine" quartet; Mark Frake, Chris Vagg, Mark Kidd and Bob Budd.
All three syndicates had to make do with the £50 consolation prize leaving the £550 residue to be won by
Ball 4 owned by Paul, Tim and Janice Loughlin. Congratulations to them!
A massive thank you once again to everyone involved in Strikers are Key this season. It is a fun but important fundraising initiative for the club.Hoping most of you will be up for it again in 2018/19? Let me know
