The penultimate Strikers are Key draw of the season took place during the End of Season Party after the match v Leyton Orient. £1,250 found its way into the safe after Jonah Ayunga's wonder strike against the O's and it was the turn of ball 3, owned by the syndicate “Another Goal Missed” comprising Neil Robinson, Paul Lane, Russell Miller, David Smart and Nick Taylor, to try its luck and attempt to crack the safe and unlock its contents.
Sadly the quest failed and the syndicate had to make do with the £50 consolation prize.
It all points towards an exciting conclusion to this season's Strikers are Key Initiative as the safe MUST be opened in the final draw to be made after the match v Maidstone United on Easter Monday. We'll keep going that evening until the safe is opened....and a minimum of £1,450 will be up for grabs!
