A day after Josh Taylor joined Maidstone on loan, goalkeeper Ross Worner has made the journey in the opposite direction after being recalled from his loan spell in Kent following an injury to Jamie Butler, who has suffered a muscle strain. Sports therapist Bobby Childs said: ''Jamie was playing with some pain through the Christmas period, but the injury has flared up this week and so he needs some time on the sidelines.'' Ross will make his return for U's in tomorrow's Vanarama National League game against Harrogate, although he is cup tied in the FA Trophy having played for Maidstone in the first round.
