When Phil was finally located in the MBA Lounge and was able to force his way through the considerable assembly of people who had gathered for the “Quadruple Anniversary” event, which took place after yesterday's match v Havant and Waterlooville, he stepped on to the SAK stage in search of the key which would have earned him the £1000 nestled safely in the safe. For the fourth draw in a row, however, the safe proved too hard to crack and Phil had to make do with the £50 consolation prize.
It all means that a minimum of £1200 will be up for grabs in the penultimate draw of the season which will take place in the MBA Lounge as part of the “End of Season Party” to which everyone is, of course, invited, and at which the season's awards will be presented.
