For our next Sporting Dinner, we have two great guests. Our Sports Personality is
RAY CLEMENCE
What could be better, than after watching the CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL,
Liverpool v Tottenham, than to have a legend who played for both clubs !!
Ray is one of only twenty five top league players to have made more than
1,000 career appearances, winning the League Championship five times,
the European Cup twice, and the F A Cup with both Liverpool and Tottenham.
PLUS, of course, 61 England caps, finally taking up an England coaching position.
With reference to our own league, Ray started out with Notts County and ended his managerial career with Barnet !!
We look forward to welcoming him to Sutton United.
