Following the completion of his loan spell, Louis John has signed a contract with Sutton until the end of the 2020-21 season. Louis made over 100 appearances for the club and was capped twice at England C level in his previous spell before joining Cambridge United in May 2018, and returned on loan in November, making his return debut in the 2-1 win at Torquay.
Manager Matt Gray commented: ''The arrival of Louis in November co-incided with our upturn in form, and he produced probably his best performance at Stockport last week, so I'm obviously delighted to have signed him on a more permanent basis. We're building for the future, and Louis is exactly the type of player that fits the bill, young, hungry, athletic and a great character in the dressing room.''
