With no fixture between our win at Yeovil on 27th October and the scheduled visit of King's Lynn on 14th November, manager Matt Gray was keen to ensure that the players were able to retain a level of match fitness. Therefore a private practice match was arranged against Ebbsfleet United and this was played this morning at Gander Green Lane.
Despite the lack of people in the ground, our usual Covid protocols were still enforced with temperature checks for all players and staff, social distancing enforced etc.
The match provided a good run-out for both teams. New signing Adam Lovatt played all 90 minutes for the U's and Callum Kealy and Omar Bugiel scored in the second half in a 2-0 win.
