We were obviously delighted with the news that the Government was considering allowing spectators back into football grounds, that is our whole raison d'etre after all. This was followed by the confirmation that the Borough of Sutton is being placed into Tier 2, meaning that the way is now open for us to welcome spectators back into our ground.
However there is still much work to be done and an operating licence to be agreed before we are able to confirm when we can open up again and what conditions will relate to how many spectators we can accommodate and which additional criteria might apply. We hope to resolve these matters as quickly as possible, but please note that it will be several days before we are able to provide any definitive details.
In the meantime, we hope that all our supporters are able to enjoy the live stream of Saturday's game against Halifax on SUFCtv.
