Although we are not able to allow spectators into the stadium for next Tuesday's opening friendly at home to Eastbourne, we are planning to show the match as a live-stream and details of how to watch that will be available shortly.
In addition, we do need test some of our protocols and levels of robustness in a real-life situation and so we are also inviting application to watch the game on live-stream in the club's bars, which will be open for business of course.
In order to maintain the very strict regulations around social distancing, attendees will not be able to enter the ground, including car-park, before 7pm - after all the match participants are safely ensconced in their changing rooms. Similarly, after the game attendees will have the option of leaving as soon as the match ends or not until after all of the participants have left.
We only have a limited number of spaces available because, like pubs and restaurants, we have to follow government guidelines on social distancing. There is no charge to attend but places will be limited to season ticket holders aged 18 and over. To apply to watch the game on live-stream in the MBA Lounge or Players' Bar, please e-mail as soon as possible: firstname.lastname@example.org, with names of all who wish to attend.
To take maximum advantage of the limited capacity available, we would encourage applications from people living in the same household.
