The Strikers Are Key draw after yesterday's 3-0 win over Eastleigh, that lifted us back to 2nd in the National League, saw Club Treasurer Rob Oakes join the gold-jacketed Adrian Barry to carry out the socially-distanced draw in very cold conditions.
Rob drew out ball number 36, which is owned by our "midfielders", the syndicate led by skipper Craig Eastmond; fitting reward for his first-time long-range goal earlier in the afternoon.
However, Rob was unable to select the correct key to open the safe and the jackpot rolls on, with "The Midfielders" pocketing the consolation prize of £50. Great goal though Craig !
