Fantastic Opportunity To Develop Our Community Outreach

9 June 2021

SUTTON UNITED YOUTH and COMMUNITY FOUNDATION is a valuable, exciting and growing element of Sutton United's community efforts. It was established as a charity in 2018 to operate the community programmes run
by the football club. Its various activities are an important part of our community efforts. They include Walking Football for the over-55s, Pan-Disability Football, Girls' Development Football for ages 5 to 11 and a Special Needs Schools
Outreach programme.

The Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees, of whom there are currently seven, under the chairmanship of Adrian Barry. Valuable funding for the Foundation has been provided by the National League Trust. With promotion to the English Football League, there is an expectation that the club's community offering will now grow in size, scope and diversity. We have an exciting opportunity to attract additional funding to further develop the programme of community activities and are looking for enthusiastic people to help develop our policies and strategies.

If you think you might be interested in helping with the development of the Foundation in this unique phase of the club's history, please contact Bobby Childs on 07966 391761 or Adrian Barry on 07753 931626 for an initial chat. Previous
relevant experience would be useful, but is not essential.
