We can announce that Duncan Muller has left his position as Head of Women's Football at Sutton United.
It had become clear in recent weeks that significant differences of opinion exist around the future direction of the women's and girls' section and we believe that a clean break is therefore best for all parties.
The club is absolutely committed to the growth and development of women's and girls' football and greater integration into the fabric of the club. Interim arrangements have been put in place to see out this season and we look forward with great excitement to what the 2022/23 season will bring.
We would like to thank Duncan for the passion and commitment he brought to the role, helping to guide Sutton United to a prominent position within women's football in the region and for the successes that he guided the first team to with multiple promotions. Duncan remains as head of our Youth & Community Foundation and we wish him well with his next coaching position.
