Barrow this Saturday - spectator arrangements

10 August 2022

The weather is set to be beautifully sunny this coming Saturday 13th for the visit of our friends, Barrow AFC.

Bars in the stadium will be open at 12 noon with the turnstiles open as usual from 1.30pm. To welcome you along and celebrate the summer sunshine we will be offering a special "HOPPY HOUR" between 12 noon and 1pm when all draught beers, lagers and ciders will be priced at just £3.50 a pint in both the new home FanZone (now replete with its lovely new furniture!) and all inside bars too. Furthermore, we will be offering a new "Pie Pod" catering unit where you can try out a new range of pasties and pies of various types, including vegetarian options. The FanZone will be open until kick off at 3pm and then again between 5-6pm after the match.

We will also be operating a “Hoppy Half Hour” for our away guests from Barrow between 1-1.30pm where all draught  beers lagers and ciders will be available for £3.50. Turnstiles 9-10 serving away supporters will therefore open at 1pm this Saturday and visiting supporters from Barrow are all welcome to come along early and enjoy our new away fans concourse.

Access to the car park will still be limited to existing permit holders on a first come first served basis as per the match v Newport County - please be patient with our hard-working car park stewards as they will accommodate you but PLEASE NOTE - for safety reasons, there will be absolutely NO access to the car park after 2pm so please do not try to enter the car park after that time. Also, cars will not be able to exit the car park until thirty minutes after the final whistle; so if you're in a hurry to get away, please do park elsewhere.

Despite the anticipated rail strike on Saturday, Thameslink and Southern services are expected to be unaffected and so trains through Sutton and West Sutton should run as normal.

Tickets for the game can be bought here, and don't forget that adult and concession tickets bought in person on the day of the game go up by £2 - tickets bought on line are at the standard prices of £20 for adults, £14 for concessions and £6 for juniors (£5 extra in each case for a stand seat), even on the day of the game.

We look forward to seeing you all nice and early on Saturday!
